Is it normal to have 2 completely different eyelids? (photos)

No two eyelids or sides of there face are identical. While blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) can address some asymmetries, it is not likely that complete symmetry can be achieved.You have an "Asian" upper eyelid appearance, mores on the right. Not only is it common to have a difference between the two eyelids, it is almost universal.  In your case, it appears that your left eye (and bone around the eye) sits lower on your face than the right.  This leaves you with more distance from your eyelid to your brow and more exposure of the eyelid shelf on this side.  Crease-enhancing surgery (double eyelid surgery) can help to achieve a more symmetrical look to the eyelids, but keep in mind that the underlying differences will always be there and this is very normal.  

If you decided to have double fold surgery, you probably need slightly better exposure of the platform on the left side and you need the right side done to match the left side.  With double fold surgery, less is more.  Be absolutely certain that the surgeon you see is very experienced with double fold surgery.  You do not want any disappointments or surprises.

It is not unusual to have some mild difference of appearance between the two upper eyelids.  If the difference is bothersome to you, it is possible that surgery could be done to make them more even.
