I was convinced the buccal fat area was my problem but after further research and some consultations, I was told that my problem area are the perioral mounds. It seems that one is bigger on one side and they have gotten more pronounced with age. I am the same weight I was 4 years ago at 117 lbs so it's not a weight issue. It seems that the aging process is making my face heavier (same with the rest of my family). Can this be fixed with perioral mound liposuction or buccal fat removal or both?
