I have recently had a genioplasty, its been a month, it was 8mm forward genioplasty. I am not able to accept the changes and want to get it reversed. I know its been too early but its breaking me mentally. I wanted to know when to get it reversed and how risky is it to get it reversed in 3 to 4 months

It is safe to reverse a genioplasty at 3 months, and is often easier because the bone has not fully healed yet. Most of the swelling should also be gone at 3 months, so if you are unhappy with the advancement, it most likely will not improve. If you are considering having surgery again, make sure to find a provider who can morph photos of you. This will ensure both of you are on the same page about what your ideal outcome is.
