Reduction in 2017 from a DD to a Cish I hate the results. Right breast is bigger. Areolas are misshapen. Scars are very bad. Is it possible to go from C to very large DDD? Will the right one stay bigger? Will nipples be pointing down? Can they lift the nipple and recut it more evenly? Idk if big implant could fit bc there’s not much skin anymore. I want big enough implants to sit on top over the scars to cover them up. What’s the best way to pick a doctor who will listen to what I want?
Answer: Implants I would not choose DDD sized implants because they will sag over time and your nipples will be too high. The areolae can be made smaller and, hopefully, more even. I would also suggest placing the implants behind the muscle for better long term support. with a breast reduction, you have less tissue to support heavy weight and your previously stretched out skin will not hold heavy implants. Also, you seem to have forgot about the heavy weight your neck and shoulders were carrying before the breast reduction.

Answer: Breast revision surgery after breast reduction Thanks for your inquiry, a picture would be helpful. Your general goals of a breast reduction revision with a supplemental augmentation are both possible. You would need an in person consultation to further discuss, pick a surgeon with several years of experience, good luck.

Answer: More information needed Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs which would needed to determine which technique is best for you. It is possible that you may only need to undergo a revision of the reduction or have a breast lift depending on your appearance. Another alternative to consider is fat transfer. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Implant size and type Dear unknownuser2, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
