Open bite determined by MRI to not be skeletal. Only second molars touched. I also have TMD with a displaced right disc. 1st yr: Invisalign. Bite improved, TMD got worse. 2nd yr: Braces with TADs. Intrusion on TADs was effective but temporary. Overjet got worse (maybe tongue thrust?) 3rd yr: Back on Invisalign. Elastics are hooked over the aligners to the TADs. I'm on my last aligners, but bite is still way off. Plus, TMJ grinding/popping again. Help! Suggestions are much appreciated.
