Can Invisalign treatment be transferred to another dentist?

Hello there,Greeting from the states.  Based on my experience, you should be able to transfer your Invisalign case to another dentist as long as everything has been paid at your current dental office. I've had a patient relocate, and my office transferred her case to her new dentist with no problems. You may need to fill out a form for you current dentist, so your records can be transferred. Your current office will probably need to contact Invisalign to provide your new dentist's information so all remaining trays can be sent to the new office, and your new dental office may charge you a fee for this.  I would suggest expressing your concerns at your current office first. Hello There,Thank You for your question. It is very easy to transfer your case to another dentist. You would need to obtain a case transfer form from your previous dentist who started the Invisalign and bring it to your new dentist. Your previous dentist should provided you with all your trays and you new dentist should be able to access your clin check and treatment plan via Invisalign once the Case Transfer is complete.Fees may be incurred with the new dentist since he/she will be monitoring your progress, possibly attaching buttons, and/or other procedures required to complete your treatment successfully.Hope this helps! 

Thank you for posting your question.  I am sorry to here that you were unhappy with the service and want to switch.  If you like the dentist that is treating you, maybe say something so that they can improve the service and then you may not have to switch.   If you still want to switch then an Invisalign case can be transferred to another Dentist.  You will have to speak to your dentist in regards to the charge for transferring the case.  The Dentist that you switch to may also charge you to take the case on and monitor the treatment until completion.
