Is lump by eye filler 6 months after Juvederm?

Question

I had Juvederm injected at the top of my cheekbones 6+ months ago. I now have a small lump on the outer corner of my eyelid. It has been there several weeks and is not sore. Could this be the filler, and if so, what do I do about it?

It is unlikely that the bump by your eye is related to your filler treatment since it has been several months since your injection.  However it is best to visit with your injector who can evaluate the situation more closely.

It is possible that the cheek filler migrated and became a bump on your eyelid. However, this would be less likely this long after the injection since the filler should have integrated with your natural cheek tissues by this time. At this point, it is more likely to be an unrelated issue. I agree that you should see your injector for an evaluation, but he or she will likely refer you to an oculoplastic surgeon or eyelid specialist for an evaluation if it's truly a bump in the lid.
