I have a hard lip line 8 days after Juvederm - Was I overfilled? (photos)

I had Juvederm XC injected 8 days ago. My upper lip has resolved all swelling and bruising but my bottom lip has a hard swollen lip line that turns white when I smile. It is uncomfortable to purse my lips and I am worried I was overfilled. Injector said to wait the full 2 weeks but I am nervous since my top lip seems fine.

Based on the photos provided, it does not have any indication of being over-filled. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

From your photos it does not appear your lips were overfilled.  Depending on the filler selected, some  have a firmer feel than others.  I encourage you to wait the full two weeks for the product to fully settle and soften.
