IPL can be used to treat the small little blood vessels on the face and it would not affect the migraines. We do provide laser protective wear and also can close your eyes to add additional protection to avoid stimulations that can trigger the migraines.

Dear Spritz100,The IPL treatment can take about 15 minutes to administer. Extra gauze can be placed under your goggles but you should take any medications you have been given prior to treatment and not have it performed if you are having any symptoms.
IPL treats superficial capillaries so it will not affect your migraines. The intense light could possibly trigger a migraine if you are sensitive to it. In my practice patients with history of migraine get an extra pad of protection under the goggles. I think you will be very safe with the extra protection.
