I would need better after pictures and also before pictures and examine your tummy before I could answer your questions. However, there will still be some healing and contour changes after 8 weeks, but not much.

It's difficult to tell with those photos, but swelling can certainly exist for 3 months in my experience.  Once the swelling settles, if you can physically grab fat above the belly button, liposuction may be an option.  Some people hold more fat internally, so liposuction wouldn't correct that.  I would check with your PS in 2 months to specifically discuss this.

It is completely normal to have swelling and firmness this early after surgery. It is also not uncommon to want a second stage liposuction 6 months or more following surgery to fine tune things. You will not see your final result from your surgery until at least 6 months post-op. Continued diet and exercise (when you are cleared to do so) is a very important role in this too. Good luck!

you need to wait at least 6 months and really up to a year to get a sense of your final result. You also need to realize that you will get a better result if you can decrease your body fat which will allow your intra-abdominal fat to decrease so that you stomach can be flatter. A TT can help you look better but you will get a better result, if you combine it with weight loss.david berman md
