Swelling 10 months after TT is not very common. &nbsp;It would be good to see your PS to reassess. &nbsp;It is possible that you may have some serous fluid present, and your PS could check this out. &nbsp;
I tell my patients to stop using the binder after 2 months, and when they do they will have some rebound swelling for a period of time afterwards. &nbsp;In my experience this settles.
Numbness can last this long so I think that is normal.
I have had a few patients describe the hardness after eating or drinking. &nbsp;After the abdominal wall is tightened it can not expand as well with eating but in my experience it does settle. &nbsp;I have had one patient that this lasted just over a year.
I hope this all settles down soon for you! &nbsp;Everyone recovers at different timelines.

I had my TT /Liposuction In December 2017 and 10 months post surgery, i'm still slightly sore on the back. In addition, the upper left side of my incision line remains swollen and numb and my stomach feels hard and tight after eating or drinking. I'm still very reliant on my waist trainer for ssupport as otherwise at times I feel sore around my midriff area. Is this normal at this stage?

Your surgeon should be able to provide you with that information, it is a simple answer. &nbsp;
It would be difficult for someone else to be able to tell that with just a clinical examination.&nbsp;&nbsp;I would think imaging would be required, and another physician would need to order that. &nbsp;One other point is that I&nbsp;don't think TT muscle tightening would affect the pelvic floor. &nbsp;

My lower abdomen and pelvic floor feels very weak and loose just the way it felt since my last c section. I feel tightness above the navel but nothing below. My Dr is not giving me details of the surgery. Can another surgeon request a CT or exam is sufficient?

How can I tell if my doctor did a full muscle repair above and below the navel area?

From the photos you sent, it looks like you are healing well. &nbsp;I would expect those drain sites to be healed by 10 days after the drains are removed.

Thanks for your question - you've done some helpful reading on how a seroma presents (the wave) vs general swelling (firmness). &nbsp;Some seromas can be more firm so&nbsp;I would definitely book to see your PS&nbsp;soon. &nbsp;He or she will need to assess and proceed from there. &nbsp;It may need draining if it's a seroma as it could become infected if left untreated. &nbsp;Best of luck!

After removing my drain (I had only one) 7 days post op. The next day there was increased swelling at my lower abdomen. Now 11 days post op my lower abdomen is still very swollen. I've watched a lot of videos on what Seroma typically looks like, and I don't experience the wave like movement when I tap on my stomach. The swelling is very firm. When I take the binder off my lower abdomen feels like it's about to pop open. The pain is minimum. Will the swelling resolve on its own

Thanks for &nbsp;your question -&nbsp;I usually tell my patients 3 weeks - hang in there! &nbsp;It also depends on how you are healing and if you are having much discomfort around the implants.

I’m a week and a half post op but prior to my BA I was a die hard stomach sleeper. I’m very anxious to go back to sleeping on my stomach. A friend of mine who had her’s done told me that she was told never to sleep on her stomach and now I am back to freaking out! Is this true can you never sleep on your stomach? I know I have a while to go until I’m able to sleep any way besides my back but please someone help me!

It's difficult to tell with those photos, but swelling can certainly exist for 3 months in my experience. &nbsp;Once the swelling settles, if you can physically grab fat above the belly button, liposuction may be an option. &nbsp;Some people hold more fat internally, so liposuction wouldn't correct that. &nbsp;I would check with your PS in 2 months to specifically discuss this.

My PS think it’s swelling and it should go away but I never saw a flat belly after my TT that area always seems hard and push out a little more. Will it go away eventually or so I need some kind of revision?

I had a full TT 8 weeks ago, but I'm not to happy with my results. I have fullness and hardness on my upper stomach. (photos)

It can be difficult to see via photos what can be appreciated in person. &nbsp;I would either see your PS's Nurse or your GP to be assessed. &nbsp;You may need some oral antibiotics for a week. &nbsp;

So I’ve had this irritated red area for about a week. I freaked out right away since it’s painful like a burn and went for an ultrasound. Nothing was found besides normal post op swelling. My PS said it coul either he contact irritation or possibly reaction to sutures. It wasn’t terrible until this morning. Today it’s leaking thin bloody fluid with occasional sticky clump. My PS is not available due to a death in a family (Shloshim) and I don’t know what to do.

I think you would be a good candidate for a rhinoplasty - but from the pictures I see I&nbsp;think you have good cheek projection. &nbsp;Pictures can be difficult for assessing this, so get a consultation with a plastic surgeon and see how he or she feels. &nbsp;You may not need cheek implants - rhinoplasty can be a very powerful surgery and may give you what you're looking for.

Thanks for your question - it sounds like this will be a great surgery for you to gain symmetry. &nbsp;Make sure &nbsp;you ask direct questions about how your surgeon plans to address the asymmetry and make sure you're comfortable with the answers!

My breasts are what I consider to be severely asymmetrical. Only an augmentation would correct the issue since my smallest breast is a AA bra size and the larger is a B/C bra size. One of my fears is having a PS who isn't well versed on treating asymmetry with augmentation. Are there doctors that are more familiar with performing breast augmentations on asymmetrical breasts than others? How do you find them? What should you be looking for? What questions are important to ask?

I usually recommend exercise commencement at 6 weeks after TT&nbsp;surgery and to take a couple of weeks building up your strength before returning to your normal exercise routine.
With that in mind, if you plan to do heavy weight squats and deadlifts,&nbsp;I would actually recommend an abdominal support for the first few months. &nbsp;That way, you have a bit of extra support for the&nbsp;heavy weight.

I am a healthy, fit 60 year old. On Feb 15, 2018. I had breast revision, capsulorrhaphy on one side, and a full tummy tuck with muscle repair. I’ve had no major complications. I have been lifting weights six days a week for years. Will my core ever be able build back up to squats and deadlifts at my previous weights? I was using a weight belt only on my heavy sets. I take a deep breath, expanding belly into belt. Thank you
