My experience was great. Dr. Vogel was professional and attentive to all my needs with being patient to all my questions. His office team including Ms. Danielle are extremely welcoming, very detailed with scheduling and assuring you have all instructions of your procedures to review prior to your procedure.
From setting up the consultation, meeting the staff, having the consult/preop, and having the actual procedure (breast augmentation), Dr. Vogel and his team made me feel extremely comfortable and took my thoughts about the procedure and expanded upon them so that I knew this was the right choice and team to do the procedure. The staff is very accessible and never makes you feel like you’re asking too many or “silly” questions. They take great care of you from start to finish and make sure you’re at ease.
Hi! 20 year old wanting a C cup. 17 days out from my surgery. Nervous and excited. I have a small frame so I’m limited to how big I can go but my doctor says around a 300cc. I’m seeing Dr. Vogel out of Baltimore. I go next week for my final appointment before the surgery. I’m mostly worried about taking off working out for the 4 weeks. Updated on 9 Nov 2017: 11 days out from surgery. I? was feeling nervous about my sizing before today but way more relaxed now. Decided to go to a 325 cc but they said they’ll probably size up to a 335. Updated on 18 Nov 2017: Final countdown... can’t explain how excited I? am. It didn’t hit me today until I? bought a couple bralettes. At this point I’m just trying to keep myself busy so the days go back faster. Here are a couple pics of me before surgery in clothes. I’ll use the same items after surgery to compare. Updated on 20 Nov 2017: Currently laying in bed pretty relaxed. I? guess it doesn’t seem real. I’ve wanted Breast my whole life. I? remember growing up and being jealous of all my friends with boobs. I? have to be at my appointment at 6:30am tomorrow. We’re about an hour away so waking up a 4:30am to shower before. Last sleep before boobs! Updated on 21 Nov 2017: I? got my surgery today. So far loving my new breast. I? ended up getting 325cc high profile under the muscle. Pain is as aspected. Not too bad yet. Laying in bed is fine but trying to get up is pretty painful. I? told my doctor I? wanted a full C and he said this would give me I?t. Can’t wait to see the progress over the next couple weeks. Updated on 21 Nov 2017: Updated on 22 Nov 2017: Surprisingly feeling pretty good for the most part. I’ve been taking my pain pills every 4 hours to try to beat the pain. The whole thing that is painful is getting up after laying or sitting down for a long time. I? got out of the house and went to lunch with my mom and sister (didn’t drive obviously) I? felt really drowsy and ended up passing out on the way. I? haven’t really had an appetite but tomorrow is thanksgiving so that might change! Updated on 23 Nov 2017: Finally feeling clean! First shower went well. Didn’t feel sick or dizzy. Morning boob is no joke. Waking up is very painful but after I? get up and moving I’m fine. Put on a medium size front zip sports bra today so I? could wash the one from surgery and it’s a big snug but boobs feel secure. Updated on 25 Nov 2017: Still loving my size. Woke up feeling good today so I’m going to stop my pain meds. Yesterday I? went shopping and had to buy a different bra because mine wouldn’t stay zipped hahha Updated on 28 Nov 2017: Still in a pain but tolerable. I? went back to school yesterday. Driving is uncomfortable but overall still happy Updated on 5 Dec 2017: Feeling great. Still a little bit of pain but only when I first wake up. Taking Advil when I feel as needed. Started back to low impact workouts yesterday (lower body, walking, stationary bike, heart rate under 100) Overall I’m super happy with my results. Victoria’s Secret measured me at a 32D but I don’t feel that big. I know I still have some settling to do. Updated on 12 Dec 2017: Updated on 14 Mar 2018: Hi all! Haven’t updated in a while. I’m still loving my results. I feel as if they’re the perfect size. If I want them to look smaller i can cover them up, yet if I want them to look bigger I can wear a push up bra. Still measuring in at a 34/C or 32/D
I am not a Real Housewife of the OC; just a regular gal who wants to look the best I can for my age. I carefully thought about the procedure and weighed the pros and cons. I talked to friends, consulted with physicians, and pondered. In April, I visited Dr. Vogel's office. Dr. Vogel and Danielle consulted with me for two and one half hours! No question went unanswered. I was so impressed with their compassion and expertise that I made the appointment for a lower face and brow lift the very next day. Between April, the time of my first consult, and July the date of my procedure, I called many times. Danielle always greeted me with kindness, and sweetly responded to each question and concern. I am now at the end of my second week following the procedure. Dr. Vogel is an artist; I, in no way, look "pulled" or overly done. I cannot wait for a month from now when the swelling will have substantially subsided. Everyone who assisted with the recovery, from the moment the process began, Laura, Michelle, Denya, Robin, and Lucy were extraordinary. (By the way, staying over night is the only way to go!) Before you visit any other practice make an appointment with Dr. James Vogel! You will be beyond thrilled I promise you!
Dr. Vogel performed a breast augmentation and liposuction on my abdomen a little over a year ago. I was extremely nervous starting this journey but Dr. Vogel and his staff made me feel so comfortable before, during, and after surgery. I decided to get these procedures done because I had lost 50 pounds and it left me very unhappy with the way my breasts and stomach looked. I could not be happier with the results! He did an amazing job and gave me everything I could have hoped for. He listened to my wishes but also gave me his professional advice as to what was best for me. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in cosmetic surgery
I'm having my BA on Monday and am getting so excited. I've never had large breasts but after breastfeeding two kids whatever breasts I did have totally disappeared. I'm getting 339 silicone gel under the muscle. I considered getting 304 but was nervous it wood be too small. My initial concern with 339 is that it'd be too but my PS let me bring sizers home since I was so indecisive. I'm confident 339 will look good! Getting excited! Updated on 12 Jun 2017: So earlier in the week I decided on 339cc but like I mentioned, the Drs office let me bring home the sizers because I was so indecisive between 339 and 304. After wearing 339cc (actually 304 but since it'd be under the muscle I'd be getting 339) all week I kind of got used to them and was concerned they'd be too small. I was considering the next size up and expressed that to Dr Vogel the morning of. Of course I didn't want anything too big and I wanted to be proportionate. The surgery center is amazing and everyone that helped was wonderful. I was so relaxed and not nervous at all. The entire experience was great and the pain is manageable. We will see what the next couple of days hold in terms of recovery:) I haven't peaked yet at my breasts, but I'd say based on experience and customer service I'd highly recommend Dr Vogel! Allergan Natrelle 339cc mod profile Started 32AA Updated on 12 Jun 2017: I thought I'd wait until tomorrow but I decided to take a peek tonight. They look great! Updated on 14 Jun 2017: Feeling good and loving them! Updated on 21 Jun 2017: Recovery has been great so far. I took pain meds for the first two days mainly around bedtime but definitely not consistently throughout the day. By day 3 I was taking Tylenol for the pain which managed it well. On the first day it felt like I had done 1000 push-ups and by the 2nd day it felt like I had bruised ribs, hard to laugh, cough etc. I've had shooting pains here and there and I took it easy for the first couple of days but overall I'm surprised at the ease of the recovery process up until this point. Currently, my incisions can get irritated from time to time but the majority of the time I feel back to normal (besides not being able to pickup my kids). I'm excited to get new bras and bathing suits and can't wait to get out of a sports bra! I'm getting anxious to get back to the gym but will listen to the Doc and wait 4 weeks :( Overall, I'm so happy I did this! Honestly, I never considered it before kids, but it's something I've been thinking about for about 3 years now. I'm extremely happy with the size and the way they look and can't wait until they soften up and come to their final resting place lol. Looking at my before and after pics are crazy to me. The difference and improvement is amazing!
Excellent experience with Dr. Vogel and his whole staff from the beginning appointment to surgery and follow up. Both Dr. Vogel and his staff took the time to discuss the whole procedure, used technology to show you the before and after picture of yourself (after surgery), explained the whole procedure(s), and did not rush you in making a decision about plastic surgery. I would recommend Dr. Vogel to anyone who is contemplating plastic surgery.
I had a breast augmentation done. My experience with Dr. vogel was great and just what i was looking for. made me feel very comfortable and confident about the procedure. answered every question I had. Made me feel comfortable at the consultation, the day of the surgery and every time we met. All of the staff at his office are very welcoming, especially Danielle, I loved how she has able to answer some of my questions about the procedure based on personal experience. On top of how they made me feel, I love the results, exactly what I wanted. I've recommended this doctor to a couple of my friends and highly recommend him to anyone else.
I had my mommy makeover recently done with Dr. Vogel and I am very happy with my results! Thank you Dr. Vogel for giving me my confidence back. I received an excellent care from the first consultation to my postoperative appointments. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vogel to my friends. Thank you!
I had consultation for TT with Dr Vogel. He and his staff were very inviting and assuring. The consultation went great! Danielle was awesome! I just pray that my results will be greater. I wish more of his TT patients posted on here. Difficult to rate based on consult only.
Thank you for your question. It really depends on what you are looking to achieve and what scars you would be willing to accept. I would say you are a good candidate for a breast augmentation with a dual plane or subglandular placement. Certainly you will want to look at before and after pictures and consult with a board certified plastic surgeon about your expectations. Good luck on your journey! Dr. James Vogel, MD, FACS
Thank you for your question. Based on your picture alone I would suggest a breast lift with a small implant to give you a nice, lifted appearance. While you could do a simple augmentation you will likely be droopier than you would like. Certainly consult with a board certified surgeon before making any decision. Good luck on your journey!
Your scalp may be pink to red after the PRP and since you are fair skinned this may last a few hours. Small bumps may also be present immediately following the injections but should also subside quickly. If a local anesthetic is used you are more likely to have mild-moderate forehead swelling. Patients have less swelling when a cooling machine is used in place of local anesthesia. Within a few hours and certainly by the following day you should have no apparent signs you had PRP done to the scalp, although tenderness may still be present.
Hair can be transplanted into a scarred area on the scalp. You should be evaluated by an experienced hair transplant surgeon to determine if this is the best option based on the scar characteristics. If the blood supply to the area is good then grafts will do well in the scar.
10 days after Hair Transplant is very early to see growth. Typically, hairs that are transplanted are visible immediately following surgery. However, by 2 weeks without PRP treatment most hairs will no longer be visible at the surface. New follicles will start to grow around 4-5 months. It can take eight months to see the full result of a hair transplant.
