Hello i had a fue hair transplant consult today & asked if it was possible to restore the edges / corners of my hair line as well as the hairline, the DR. told me it was not , but I've seen so many videos where they do , please if anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it
Answer: Restoring a Hairline Hello, although I am not able to see your uploaded photo generally a hair transplant into the hairline addresses the edges or corners such as the temporal peaks. Depending on how much hair loss someone has experienced it is possible to not be able to completely recreate the side burns or bring forward the temporal peaks as much as someone would like. I would recommend doing your due diligence and seeking out experienced hair transplant doctors for consultations. Make sure they are not technician based clinics and that the doctor is doing the surgery. Also be sure that they perform both FUE and FUT regularly. I hope this was helpful to you. If you have any further questions you can visit our website or email us at info@modenahair.com

Answer: Hair line Restoration FUE, Follicular Unit Extraction, procedure chooses the best donor follicles from the back part of your head and then implants them where they're required. This can be in the hairline, in the crown of the head, anywhere you have advance thinning or bald spots. For more in depth information, schedule a consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgery to discuss a personalized treatment plan for you.

Answer: Can FUE Hair Transplant Restore Hairline Edges and Corners? Yes, it is possible to restore the edges and corners of your hairline using FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) techniques. Many successful procedures have targeted the frontal hairline, including the edges and corners, to create a more natural and youthful appearance. It’s surprising that your doctor said otherwise, as restoring these areas is commonly done. However, the success of restoring edges and corners depends on factors like the quality of your donor hair, the extent of hair loss, and your hair type. In some cases, certain clinics may be cautious due to the delicate nature of these areas or the density needed to achieve natural results.

Answer: Can I restore my edges/corners? Hello, Dr. George Abrahamian MD here, from La FUE Hair Clinic, Pasadena, CA. Hair transplantation is a very nuanced procedure, and there are many considerations. Many surgeons prefer to avoid restoring the temple hairline (where the hair comes down the side of the head, approaching the eyebrows), and prefer to work on the hairline itself only, and the areas behind it. This is most commonly due to the fact that hair transplants will likely be a permanent change for you, and a good surgeon should be cognizant of the fact that our faces will continue to mature and change as we age. Temporal hairline reconstruction may look good for a few years after restoration, but as the face continues to mature and age, may start to look unnatural long term. It is typically safer in the long run to focus on the hairline, and the temple angle closures, instead of including the temple hairline as well. A good surgeon will explain all the risks and benefits of restoring all the areas of your concern, and will guide you through the entire process. Often, a happy compromise is reached with both parties! I hope this helps, best of luck on your hair restoration journey!

Answer: FUE transplant Hello, and thank you for your question. After your donor hair follicles are harvested, they can be placed anywhere you need them. I'm not sure why you were told otherwise. I would be happy to consult with you and discuss your options.
