Answer: Can I restore my edges/corners? Hello, Dr. George Abrahamian MD here, from La FUE Hair Clinic, Pasadena, CA. Hair transplantation is a very nuanced procedure, and there are many considerations. Many surgeons prefer to avoid restoring the temple hairline (where the hair comes down the side of the head, approaching the eyebrows), and prefer to work on the hairline itself only, and the areas behind it. This is most commonly due to the fact that hair transplants will likely be a permanent change for you, and a good surgeon should be cognizant of the fact that our faces will continue to mature and change as we age. Temporal hairline reconstruction may look good for a few years after restoration, but as the face continues to mature and age, may start to look unnatural long term. It is typically safer in the long run to focus on the hairline, and the temple angle closures, instead of including the temple hairline as well. A good surgeon will explain all the risks and benefits of restoring all the areas of your concern, and will guide you through the entire process. Often, a happy compromise is reached with both parties! I hope this helps, best of luck on your hair restoration journey!

Answer: FUE transplant Hello, and thank you for your question. After your donor hair follicles are harvested, they can be placed anywhere you need them. I'm not sure why you were told otherwise. I would be happy to consult with you and discuss your options.
