Can I have hair transplanted on a scar in my moustache?

are procedures that can be quite effective for restoring hair to conceal a
scar. Yes, hair regrowth can be somewhat lower, but an experienced
surgeon can at least partly offset this challenge through the use of 2 and 3
(instead of 1 and 2) hair grafts, as well as utilizing specific techniques for
promoting graft take.

It's important to remember that hairs do not grow quite as well in scars. The chance of survival of a graft in 'perfect'  conditions (for example, no scars, good blood supply) is approximately 93-96 %. With scars, it is reduced. So, 100 % survival can not be promised in any patient - even with no scars!Scars in the moustache area often do fabulously with hair transplant surgery! Patients the previous surgery in the moustache area from cleft lip have great results as do patients with scars in the area from other regions.It is likely that some grafts will grow, and your surgeon can give you a better idea what the chances are depending on your specific situation. In general, it's likely you'll have better coverage and camouflage than you do now. It is unlikely your scar will get worse.
