It should be fine to drink carbonated water, but I recommend following up with your Doctor about their after care protocol and recommendations about when to resume drinking carbonated water. Keep in mind, swelling can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Every patient heals differently. For most, the bruising is gone within the first 2 weeks. Taking some arnica will help to speed this along. However, the swelling can take months to dissipate so that might affect how you feel in a bathing suit. If you are worried, I would probably wait. Best of luck.
