Had rhinoplasty. Stitches/cast removed and have open wound on side of nose? Have you seen this before? How does it heal? (photo)

Open yellow gooey wound was on outside of my nose and another smal one forming on opposite side of nostril as well doctor said no worries it should heal fine just put ointment and keep moist with ointment . Maybe some pigmentation when healed . I am so worried it looks so discussing and because it's open I feel it cold get infected .
