I know tissue around the eyes can frame the eyes differently, but what about actual eye shrinking like phthisis bulbi, or sinking? Over 4 months I have had recurrent infections in my eyes. Inflammation, etc daily. 2 weeks out of the 4 months it cleared up symptom free, then started again, now under control. eyes have never looked the same. Look either sunken in (both of em, had em measured by exophthalmometer, both 18 mm, but have no baseline measurements from before this started). Can't tell if bilateral exophthalmos or actual shrinking of eyes (some studies say shrinkage can from infection) Any scans for diagnosis of shrinkage?
