I hate my new veneers. Can it be adjusted/corrected? (photos)

Based on the photos of your 8 veneers, I have to say I am a bit puzzled as to why there would be a gap between your two front teeth.  I would never place veneers with a gap between the teeth, unless a patient specifically asks for a gap.  I was not present for your treatment, so I cannot speculate on the reason for this gap, but I can tell you that it is not normal in my practice of dentistry.  I've been a cosmetic dentist for 10 years and never had a patient that was dissatisfied with their veneers. It saddens me that this was delivered as a final product. The importance of finding the right cosmetic dentist and one that follows basic cosmetic planning procedures is crucial! Unfortunately the gap can't be corrected without completely replacing your new veneers. In addition the asymmetrical gum line would have needed to be corrected prior to Veneer treatment, This is typically a separate treatment prior to Veneer fabrication and placement.This case needs a complete redo.I wish you the best of luck!

No, unfortunately the gap can't be corrected without completely replacing your new veneers.  The asymmetrical gum line situation is usually corrected prior to treatment, but could possibly still be addressed with the dental gum laser.  This is typically a separate treatment and fee, usually not included with veneer treatment.  A veneer that is too long can often times be shortened without a problem.  The question I have is did your dentist show you the veneers on your teeth before bonding them into place?  Did he get your approval?  Was this a written approval or just a "yeah, go ahead and cement them"?If you are not satisfied and you and your dentist no longer have a good working relationship, then maybe you would be better off consulting with several cosmetic dentists to hear their opinions and how they would achieve better results.
