4 top front veneers need to be redone. Can the adjusting be done with no numb face or would it hurt too much?

If you would simply like for your veneers to have the shape or bite altered, then you should not require anesthesia.  By contrast,  to completely replace your veneers would require you to be numb as they will have to be taken off with a dental handpiece.  Good luck.  

If you are just needing to get your veneers adjusted for bite or other minor issues, then numbing is not usually necessary.  However, if you need a veneer removed and replaced, then it would be much more comfortable for you to have the numbing agent placed.  The appearance of the veneers can easily be assessed before you are numb and after they are placed and you are numb.    Good luck and I hope this helps. Normally Veneer adjustment can be done without numbing.  However if the veneers need to be completely removed and replaced depending on the thickness and amount of tooth structure remaining, numbing most likely be necessary.Best regards,Dr. Maddahi
