Fractional Laser Vs Laser Genesis Which is Better?

Laser Genesis stimulates some collagen, but not as much as an ablative CO2 laser or even a non-ablative laser such as Fraxel restore.  You should consider consulting your friend's physician to see if you are a candidate for one of the fractional lasers.  Your Ultherapy treatment will still be effective after Laser Genesis.

Laser genesis is a very superficial treatment that is great for redness and skin tone. I would not categorize it anywhere near as high a treatment as a fractional laser which penetrates much deeper into the skin to create new collagen. Remember that fractional lasers do have some downtime, and laser genesis has zero. Consult a physician or several physicians about what is best for your specific needs. It's not necessarily something I would base solely on age, but skin type, tone, issues that need to be addressed, ability for a person to have downtime, etc.
