CT scan revealed the hematoma. My doctor sent me to a general surgeon. The surgeon said removing the hematoma would make the appearance worse, and the scar tissue is causing the dent. She said massage it daily and maybe in time it would get better. I've lost 70 lbs and was just getting comfortable in my body for the first time in years. I don't want to live with this deformity forever. Any suggestions is appreciated!

Agree with you. Dividing an area to two for liposuction is done for some reason. Like the abdomen, divided to upper and lower abdomen. Yet I believe it is one area, it is one aesthetic area. the flanks is one unit. You do not do right flank and leave the left, looks funny. May be this is done...
Although not extremely common, fat necrosis can happen with fat transfer to any area, including the buttocks. It sounds like your surgeon is treating you well, however you can always seek a second opinion to rest assured.
Hello dear!
Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
It is very risky to performed surgery on patients with a BMI above 33.
In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.
