Hello, i have just had an operation an hour ago and I am very worried as my nipples are not simmetric, although they were before. I always though that oneof my breasts is slighlty bigger than the other, however my doctor said they are not. It seems that not only horizontally they are not in line but also vertically. Please have a look at my picture. Is this normal? And what can be done if it is not normal. Thank you very much
Answer: Breast Augmentation Thank you for your question about breast augmentation. You just had surgery and your breasts are taped. Nothing meaningful can be gleaned from looking at it right now. Put your dressings back on and stop looking at it.Stay in contact with your surgeon and follow all of his or her instructions.Good luck.

Answer: Breast Augmentation I appreciate your question. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. Express your concerns to your Surgeon during your post op visits and follow their post op instructions strictly. In the meantime, Relax, rest, heal, recover and reassess in 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. best of luck! Answer: 1 hour post op Hello,Thank you for the question and photos. Your breasts may swell and appear slightly different at first as this is essentially two different operations. I expect that your breasts will even out eventually but do share your concerns with your Plastic Surgeon and let them advise you.All the best

Answer: Nipple asymmetry after breast augmentation Hi,Thanks for posting your question. I am happy to try and help you. It is important to remember that a board certified plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to an accurate assessment of your situation, and concerns. Having said that, nipple asymmetry should be identified preop to alleviate any anxiety post op. You are too early in the post op to be worried. But you should look and study your preop photos. Because ultimately your result should be your breasts made larger.I hope you found this helpful. Have a great day.

Answer: Nipples are not in line with each other. Hi, CiroMar. Congratulations on your surgery! Based on your limited view of the chest, it is difficult to assess your concern. However, you may have differential swelling and implant settling as you heal. You are only one hour post-op. Please give at least 4-6 weeks for swelling to decrease and 3-6 months for implants to settle. Be patient and follow your plastic surgeon's post-op instruction. Best wishes.
