I was just sent home from an appointment. I have Multiple Sclerosis. I am aging quickly and wanted wrinkle relaxers. I attended a group class. Firstly I was on a budget which was announced among strangers. Secondly I was told that I can only have relaxers if I attended 1 on 1 appointment which was much more expensive. I was told that Botox was too risky with Multiple Sclerosis. My question is how when it is used in many ways as treatment with MS?
Answer: Botox with MS Thank you for your question and I’m sorry you had that experience. Botox is actually used to treat MS, as you have indicated, so this condition is not a contraindication for Botox treatments. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a board-certified dermatologist so you can discuss your medical history and your aesthetic goals. With an expert provider who will take one-on-one time with you, you are likely to achieve the results you want.

Answer: Botox with MS Thank you for your question. MS is not necessarily a contraindication for Botox injections; in fact, this treatment is often recommended for MS patients to address various symptoms of the condition. I encourage you to make an appointment with a board-certified physician who is an expert in Botox. Discuss your concerns and your aesthetic goals to determine whether Botox is the appropriate treatment for you. In addition to ensuring a safe procedure, this experienced professional will also be able to produce the best possible results for you.
