PMMA Glute Injections?

Admittedly, I have not had a chance to review the PMMA studies you speak of. However, based upon my 23 years experience specializing in buttock augmentation/ enhancement surgery, I remain very skeptical. I typically see at least one patient a week whom has suffered the disastrous consequences (including death from pulmonary embolism) of permanent fillers injected into their buttock, whether it be from silicone, hydrogels, Biopolymer, or PMMA injections. These patients all require extensive and very expensive removal and reconstruction of their buttocks with buttock implants.

Although you say you are “looking to get a very small amount injected”, a very small amount will produce insignificant results and lead you to go back for more and more injections, until you are finally happy with the results…until months or years later you suffer the same disaster consequences that most everyone else does.

The only FDA approved relatively safe, reliable, predictable, and permanent option is buttock implants, period. Hope this helps and more importantly I hope this helps you avoid disastrous consequences.

Good morning, I hope you are well. I do not recommend injecting anything into the buttocks because complications may arise in the future due to the components of the injection.

I’ve taken care of one patient who had this foreign substance injected into her gluteal region. Overtime the product remained and liquid and migrated and made channels throughout her products up to her back around on her thighs. We probably did six sessions, trying to flush off the material which eventually left open liquid channels that could eventually never be cured or healed.
I recommend highly against having this treatment.
