Turkey neck and asymmetrical lips - would Botox improve the appearance within 2 weeks? (Photos)

My daughter is getting married in two weeks and I hate the thought of the wedding photos that I will be in. The right side of my upper left is lower than the left due to two skin cancers and two different plastic surgeons. My neck the photos speak for themselves. I would like to know whether they would be a candidate for Botox to make my lips symmetrical to give my neck a better appearance.

Hello Rmflorida12. Congratulations on your daughter’s wedding. With only 14 days to go, we are at the finish line for results, but significant improvement is still possible.
1. The Neck (The Nefertiti Lift)
Botox can definitely help with the vertical cords (platysmal bands) you see in the photo. By relaxing these muscles, the neck looks smoother and less strained. This takes about 10 to 14 days to fully kick in, so you must act immediately. However, please note that Botox relaxes muscles but does not remove excess skin laxity.
2. Asymmetrical Lips
Because your asymmetry stems from skin cancer surgery, it is likely structural rather than just muscular.
 + Botox: Can help if one side pulls down harder when you smile.
 + Filler: This is actually my preferred recommendation for your timeline. A soft filler provides immediate symmetry and can fill in areas where tissue was lost during surgery.
3. The Wedding Timeline
You are in the golden window. Botox takes 2 weeks to settle, while fillers show results instantly. To ensure you are photo ready without bruising, we use precise techniques and recommend avoiding blood thinners like fish oil or ibuprofen starting today. Daxxify is an option too that studies have shown may provide faster results for some patients, often becoming visible within two to three days. This could be a significant advantage given your tight 14 day timeline.
My Advice:Botox will soften the neck appearance, but for the lips, a tiny amount of filler will give you the most predictable symmetry for your photos.

In person exam is essential. Based on limited photos - it appears that you may be a good candidate for Facelift/ neck lift to achieve the best result. Anything short of that -in my opinion- will not help you achieve your goals. Also, keeping in mind that one side is not a mirror image of the other side- and will never match. Of course you can't get surgery done before the wedding, but if you are serious  about achieving long lasting improvements - i suggest that you seek an experienced Board Certified PS and discuss your options . In the meantime, before the wedding - you can have several PRX glow treatments that are temporary - but will provide some temporary improvements before the wedding . Hope this helps m

Botox can help a bit here, but it’s not a full fix, especially with a 2-week timeline.

It can soften neck bands and slightly improve pull on the lower face, which may give a more relaxed, balanced look, but it won’t fully correct asymmetry from prior surgery.

With an event this close, the goal would be subtle improvement, not perfection. Results also take about 7–14 days to fully kick in, so timing matters.

Best move is an in-person evaluation so the injector can assess muscle pull vs. structural asymmetry and keep everything natural for photos.

Congratulations on your daughter's upcoming wedding.  Based on the submitted photos Botox will not adequately address your neck concerns due to the degree of skin laxity.  A neck lift would be recommended.  For the asymmetry of your lips you may be able to get some improvement using fillers.  Generally it's recommended to have these treatments 4 to 6 weeks prior to a major event due to swelling and potential bruising.
