Hello! I am looking for professionals to consider if I have tuberous breasts or not. My insurance will cover it if a doctor confirms a congenital deformity, but I want another opinion before bringing it up to my mom, since, though I’m an adult, I am still under my parents insurance. I wouldn’t want to go through the whole process if there is no chance of me having it. Thank you!

Your breasts are asymmetrical and ptotic. You may have tuberous breast on one side. You will need a lift and I recommend the Bellesoma. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. This technique is not covered by insurance companies.

It appears that you have tuberous breast; surgical correction should be considered. However, correction of volume asymmetry needs to be addressed in order to achieve symmetrical, long lasting result. This will include reduction of larger breast. In the case that you decide to have implants (which will definitely improve result), reduction of larger breast should be done rather than augmentation with asymmetric implants. Good luck.
