I had my surgery 5/11/2018 , my Dr told me to shower 24 hrs after and it’s ok to shower just not to scrub where I have my incision . I am now 1 week post op and I have showered 3 times now . It is ok to continue showering constantly? I see a lot of ppl say they had to wait 2 weeks and were only allowed to shower there lower body.

This is a common question and also one that divides opinion - it is probably best to stick with the advice of your surgeon. In my practice, I encourage patients to begin showering the day after surgery but then I don't use drains and use a multi-layered wound closure sealed with glue!
