I do not routinely drain Bbl patients. So, I am not sure exactly what you are asking. I will say that most swelling will come down within 6-8 weeks.
I usually leave very small drains in each of the places where I did the liposuction. I usually remove these drains about 4 days after surgery. How long it takes for drainage to disappear essentially depends upon how much fluid needs to drain out and how well it can drain out. If you are depending upon your body reabsorbing the fluid that becomes a situation your surgeon needs to watch and possibly help happen.
