I feel something is very off putting and unnatural about my face and I have narrowed it down to my slopping forehead, specifically my protruding brow bone (see pics). They stick very much giving a neanderthal look, and cause my eyes to appear deep-set. Is to possible to reduce them and get a more even forehead? How complicated a procedure is it and what would it cost? Thanks
Answer: Yes - can be done Forehead forehead reduction surgery can indeed be done. It is certainly not the case that you would need any kind of special Imaging unless you have an unusual history such as trauma or prior surgery to the area. Endoscopic reduction of the brow bone should not be done except for the very rare person who has excessively thick bone or if you want only a minimal change. The real problem will be that you'll need an incision on top of your head which can leave a visible scar. Hair grafts may be necessary to prevent that from becoming visible in the future. This is a procedure that I do four times or so each week and have for many years. Watch our videos to learn more.

Answer: Brow reduction Brow reduction can be performed via an endoscopic procedure or an open procedure. The endoscopic procedure places small incisions behind the hairline through which a camera and drill are guided down to the brow area to shave the bone down. The technique is limited by the curvature of an individual's forehead and the amount of bone to be removed. It is also limited by how high the hairline is. The endoscopic procedure can also be used to raise the eyebrows. The trichophytic procedure can address the above as well as lowering the hairline (this is not the greatest idea if further receding hair runs in your family as the scar will show in a few years). This procedure also has the advantage of being able to recess the brow bone further in individuals with thin bone over their frontal sinuses. You may also need imaging to determine the thickness of the frontal bone to ensure that enough can be drilled down without entering the sinus. I would recommend seeing some who has experience with both cosmetic facial contouring and facial reconstructive surgery to guide you through the process. Best of luck!

Answer: Brow bone reduction. Brow bone reduction is an operation I have done for 35 years along with dividing the wrinkle muscles. It works excellently and I have have not had any complications from this. If your brows are sagging They can lift them at the same time.
