I had a Septum and Turbinate surgery in Florida recently and it seems like the middle area of my nose is now larger then before. Is this normal? Is it just because it might be swollen inside?

No – whistling after nasal surgery is not “normal”. It may
be due to internal scarring of the nose, persistent swelling or even a
perforation of the nasal septum.
Post operatively my patients cleanse the inner nose with 1/2 strength hydrogen peroxide on a q tip, no nose blowing and are prescribed an antibiotic and steroid dose pack. Flonase, a steroid inhaler is safe to use because of its low steroid concentration.
