Diastasis recti is a medical term that describes the separation of the abdominal muscles. At this time, EmSculpt is the only non-surgical approach that is proven to reduce diastasis recti. If considering the treatment, one EmSculpt session usually takes thirty minutes to complete. Patients need a minimum of four sessions scheduled at least two or three days apart to see optimal results.

Emsculpt works the muscles.  The diastasic is a weakening or thinning of the connective tissue between the two sets of muscles.  This will not change with emsculpt.

Almost all diastasis recti result from pregnancy and the studies show, on average, an  11% reduction in the width of diastasis, on average, following emsculpt treatment as the muscles hypertrophy and reduce the space between the two muscles
