Does Emsculpt work for diastasis recti after a pregnancy?

I have gotten two opinions about my diastasis recti with two plastic surgeons that recommend a surgical option, I am not ready at this moment to go under the knife. Would Emsculpt help me?

Diastasis recti is a medical term that describes the separation of the abdominal muscles. At this time, EmSculpt is the only non-surgical approach that is proven to reduce diastasis recti. If considering the treatment, one EmSculpt session usually takes thirty minutes to complete. Patients need a minimum of four sessions scheduled at least two or three days apart to see optimal results.

Emsculpt works the muscles.  The diastasic is a weakening or thinning of the connective tissue between the two sets of muscles.  This will not change with emsculpt.

Well it depends upon your definition of "work"
Almost all diastasis recti result from pregnancy and the studies show, on average, an  11% reduction in the width of diastasis, on average, following emsculpt treatment as the muscles hypertrophy and reduce the space between the two muscles
Non-invasive treatments cannot achieve surgical quality results but for patients who do not wish to consider surgery they present a meaningful option. Given the facts patients can make an informed choice as to what works in their life. 
The paternalistic view of "doctor knows best" has given way, in the internet age, to patients are much more informed of their options and able to find physicians much more in tune with their needs.
