I am 50 years old. I take good care of my skin but want a firm jawline, firm lower face & remove the start of jowls. I don't need a facelift yet. I tried ultherapy 5 years ago, it was ok. Now I am looking into facetite or thermitight. Which one is more effective? Which lasts longer? Which is safer? very nervous about picking the right doctor. Is the result based on how the doctor performs it or are they both easily guided? Also who are the top doctors in facetite & thermitight in NJ/NY
Answer: Jawline Definition / Jawline Enhancement / Facial Sculpting / Facial Contouring -- injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: ThermiTight or FaceTite for Facial Skin Tightening Both ThermiTight and FaceTight use radiofrequency energy under the skin to help tighten and lift the skin on the face and body. There are small differences in the way this energy is delivered. Both procedures can provide good results in the appropriate candidates when performed in experienced hands. Therefore, more important is the skill and experience of the physician performing the procedure. Again, in experienced hands both treatments are safe. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced physician provider.

Answer: Facetite versus Thermitite Both facetite and thermitite are subdermal RF treatments designed to melt fat and tighten skin. The difference between the 2 devices is that facetite is bipolar (meaning the energy only flows between the internal and external probes) and thermitite is mono polar (the energy flows out in all directions from the probe). In the face, where many motor nerves are present, I believe bipolar (facetite) technology is much safer. Especially when thinking about the marginal nerve, which runs right through the jowel. Having used the facetite device for almost 2 years, I can tell you that it’s not automated. The skill of the practitioner is important for determining the result, as the probe needs to be placed correctly for both safety and effectiveness.

Answer: FaceTite Thank you for your question. FaceTite is a new procedure that utilizes radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to simultaneously dissolve fat and tighten the skin. The key the use of radiofrequency energy provides controlled and gentle heat that encourages both the breakdown of fat and the production of collagen within the body. Collagen is responsible for skin elasticity and contributes to a youthful appearance. FaceTite results are long-lasting and immediately visible. Typically, most patients see the best results after an average of 6 weeks. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.

Answer: FaceTite or ThermiTite? Both of these technologies use RF to tighten the skin subdermally. The results are most dependent of the operator of the device. They both have feedback mechanisms to maintain safe temperatures. They work by heating the fibroseptal network (collagen) which leads to contraction and new collagen and elastin. The FaceTite gives energy through the dermis because the RF is bipolar with an electrode above and below the skin whereas the Thermi is monopolar and only below the skin surface. Thermi has an upgraded version - Arvati - which is much faster than the older version. I don't have experience with Thermi and I believe the FaceTite to be better.
