The best ways to contact several plastic surgeons and get a general idea. You can use the ASPS or ASAPS websites to ensure that you find a Qualified, board-certified plastic surgeon. Particularly with this operation, I can't underscore how important it is to find someone with experience. It is imperativethat you seek the advice of a plastic surgeon who is certified by the AmericanBoard of Plastic Surgery and has extensive experience in brachioplasty / armlift. I wish you the best. Dr. Gabbay.
Best advice is to contact 3-4 board certified plastic surgeons and inquire as to the price and additional costs such as operatory and anesthesia. That should provide you with the proper estimate.
Thank you for your question. I recommend researching board-certified plastic surgeons in Michigan, focusing primarily on their patient reviews as well as before and after photos to determine with whom you would like to schedule a consultation. Then, you will be able to determine how much your arm lift will cost. Attached is a link for you to get a good idea of what others in the RealSelf community have paid. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
Thanks for the question. When it comes to costs of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure (quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery listed on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites as well.In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. You may find the attached link helpful as you learn more. Best wishes.

Thank you for your question. Specific prices are difficult to give depending on the extent of the procedure. Costs also include anesthesia and facility fees which can vary from hospital to hospital. I certainly would recommend that you call the office where more detailed information can possibly be provided. I hope this helps and have a wonderful day. Dr Kaiser - Detroit
