How long after Face Lift must I wait for facial?

How long after a full face lift...including eyes & forehead lift must I wait for a facial ? Also your thoughts on LED light treatments. Thank you for your information.

Thanks for posting your question.  As long as healing has been normal, I typically will have patients wait 4-6 weeks after facelifting, blepharoplasty, forehead lift to resume a facial by an aesthetician.

You should wait a few weeks after a full facelift for any kind of procedure. One because you are healing and have sutures, and two because there is a great deal of swelling. You can always ask your plastic surgeon his/her preference on when you can have other procedures done. My experience with LED light treatments is that ones done by physicians have some benefit; ones done at day spas or homecare are about as effective as standing in front of a neon sign.... There are many other laser or light procedures that are much more beneficial. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and
