Can I have a facial after receiving Botox injections?

We normally recommend patients wait at least 3-4 days after getting Botox to have a facial done by a medical esthetician. At that point, the Botox is no longer going to migrate and the facial should not have any significant impact on the Botox outcome.

I would recommend waiting at least 24 hours after Botox treatment before having Botox injections. However, in my experience, Botox can be injected immediately after the facial if the facial treatment is performed first. One of the recommendations after getting Botox injections is avoiding lying down for 4 hours. You can have facials done just before your Botox treatment, but if you choose to have it done after, I recommend you to wait at least one week; this way, Botox's migration can be prevented, and you can get the expected result. Having a facial done right away after your Botox injection might cause unwanted effects.

I always suggest when doing same day treatments, a facial would be first followed by Botox. One reason being I recommend not laying down for 4 hours after injections.
