How to fix slanted rib implant on my bridge rhinoplasty? (Photos)

Question

2 months post op. Looking back at old photos when it was healing the implant was already misplaced too far right I believe. I used my own rib for my bridge and he also did my tip. What's the best way to fix this? Is the nose tip supposed to look droopy? Surgeon offered to fix it for free but I need to advice. Please and thank you

We have had great success in camouflaging the edges of a nasal bridge graft with micro droplet Silikon 1000 injections, a permanent soft tissue filler with a long track record of precision permanence and safety in the nose. Depending on your examination, adding a bit of volume to your left upper bridge would likely lead to a straighter nasal appearance. Additionally, do you have a pleasing nasal appearance with a slight irregularity that should not require revision surgery in my opinion. I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Hello and thank you for your question. Rib dorsal onlay grafts have a high complication rate of malposition with time. In this situation, I will remove it and replace it with diced cartilage wrapped in fascia,. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
