Would i need more recovery time or will it be okay to return to work after 3-4 weeks?
Answer: Recovery Time Thank you for your question. For an active job such as firefighter, 3-4 weeks may be too soon. I recommend all my patients avoid heavy-lifting (over 10 lbs) and strenuous activity for 6 weeks post-op. Every surgeon has their own recovery protocol. When you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon, make sure they answer all your questions regarding the post-operative recovery period. S. A. Earle, MD, FACS

Answer: Brazilian Butt Lift Brazilian Butt Lift recovery time is dependent on how the patient’s body reacts to the procedure. Patients usually return to work after a week but you should not sit without the use of cushions for at least two weeks and you must wear a compression garment for several weeks after the procedure. You should wait until at least 2 weeks after the procedure to engage in sexual activity. Swelling and discomfort normally fades at six weeks. After about a month you will be mostly healed and you can get a nice idea of the permanent results after around six months.

Answer: BBl and tummy tuck First, I would stage the two and probably perform the Bbl first. 3-4 weeks is probably enough time for you after a BBl. A tummy tuck, I would avoid heavy lifting for about 6-8 weeks. Light duty/exertion in about 3 weeks.

Answer: BBL tummy tuck return to work Hello and thank you for the question. All surgery has risks and takes time to heal. Getting back to work is a common question and depends on what type of work you do. A tummy tuck takes the longest to recover from. For someone who works a 9-5 desk job, 2 weeks is the minimum I would recommend. You will be ok for sedentary work but not much else. Plus you will be tired / fatigued as your body is consuming vast sums of energy to heal from surgery. A firefighter is a different class of work altogether. My patients who are fire / police duty say the job is 90% quiet and 10% chaos. It's the chaos part that you will not be ready for at a month. Typically, a fire emergency requires you to be at FULL physical function and that can take 2-3 months frankly. My patients who do this work will often use short term disability to go back to work on a light duty ONLY basis. You could return to light duty within 2 weeks or so. Hope that answer helps. Best to you. #plasticsurgery #drbennettyang

Answer: BBL and Firefighting Hello and thanks for your question. It is possible to get a BBL, liposuction with VASER, and a tummy tuck and be able to return to work after 4 weeks at the minimum. Each individual varies, but with VASER, you would get the best outcome and be able to return in about 4 weeks. Please consult with a certified VASER specialist for more information.
