Facelift is a straight forward procedure for a well trained plastic surgeon who has experience in face lifting. There are many well trained plastic surgeons in Chicago. But I would never suggest that a patient limit their search for a plastic surgeon that will make a permanent change to their face to a particular zip code, or even a state. The best plastic surgeon for you might be right around the corner. But, don't limit your search.  Realself is a great place to start searching for a plastic surgeon. Take your time. of course you want a board-certified plastic surgeon. But what about training? Some plastic surgeons have five years of formal surgical training. others have as many as ten years of formal surgical training. Some plastic surgeons graduated at the top of a top-tier medical school and received training from the top medical universities in the country. What is important to you? How about results. Do you want to look like you've had plastic surgery, or do you want a very natural looking result. Before and after photos are not only an indication of the results you can achieve, but provide insight to the surgeon. Do before and after photos have the same lighting, the same cropping, the same distance from the camera? All of these details give you an insight to your surgeon's attention to detail.Don't jump into plastic surgery just because the time is right. Wait until you KNOW you have found the right surgeon for you. if that surgeon is in your zip code, great. But for a permanent change in your appearance, when you are trusting someone with your health and well being, don't select a doctor based on convenience or price.
