I had liposuction and bbl fat transfer 5 weeks ago and now that my draining holes are close how do I get rid of the lefted over fluid that's on the left side of my stomach and back??
Answer: There is no way to significantly hasten resolution of swelling after liposuction. Swelling is an accompaniment of the healing process after any surgical procedure but in this particular case liposuction. Avoiding trauma to the area is about the best one can do. In the end this resolution is determined by your own healing processes.

Answer: How do I get rid of fluid in my stomach and back after liposuction? Thank you for your question. Normally after liposuction patients are asked to wear compression garments to help with skin retraction and prevent fluid accumulation after surgery. Without an in-person physical exam it is difficult to know if the fluid that you still have is swelling that will eventually get absorbed by your body, or a fluid collection termed a seroma. See your liposuction doctor so that they can examine you and make the best recommendations for a treatment plan.

Answer: Seroma after liposuction Although seromas are not as common after liposuction as they are after a tummy tuck, they can happen. If you have a fluid pocket on physical exam, then your plastic surgeon may consider draining it with a syringe and needle. I would return to your plastic surgeon who is in the best position to guide you and exam whether this is fluid pocket versus swelling after your procedure.

Answer: Dr Derby Sang If you still have fluid then it is best to do extraction with a needle but if it swelling then it will go away by itself in the next days/weeks. Best of luck

Answer: Lipo and fluid? Do you mean swelling or fluid? Swelling will slowly dissipate on its own. If you have fluid like a serum then that would likely need aspiration with a needle and syringe.
