These lines when I smile drive me crazy. Every doc I ask tells me there is nothing really out there yet for this. The threads possibly but I've read reviews on those and not sure. I've had filler upper cheeks to try and lift it but doesn't work. How can I soften or get rid of these?

Answer: Why RF microneedling may be right for you Thank you for your question and photo. You may benefit from RF microneedling to smooth the lines you’re referring to. This procedure uses a combination of microneedling and gentle radiofrequency heating to increase your body’s natural collagen production and restore your skin’s elasticity. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to assess your concerns and determine the best treatment option to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

Answer: Consider RF Treatment Hello, hope you are well. It may be that you are seeing fine lines due to some laxity and redundancy in the skin of the lower face. (It is always difficult without being able to examine in person or very high quality photos; I also wonder if there is some mild jowling and fullness of the anterior cheek at rest). A non-surgical treatment for rejuvenation of the lower face and neck is now available called Embrace. It is a combination of treatments (FaceTite and Morpheus8) which are radiofrequency energy delivered to the skin and subcutaneous fat. As advertised, these procedures help tighten the skin and restore elasticity by encouraging the skin to produce more collagen and elastin. They can be performed in office without the need for general anesthesia with relatively little down time. A full consultation with a provider who performs these treatment could give you a more nuanced insight into cost/benefit, but that may be a good place to start. Hope that helps! Cheers,Dr. Tower

Answer: Improving Deep Wrinkles -- Botox/Xeomin/Dysport/Jeuveau, fillers, fat, RF treatments, Ultherapy, Renuvion, lasers, Sculptra A combination approach would give the most improvement. Deep wrinkles and smile lines can be improved with a combination of Botox and/or fillers for the lines themselves and to build anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy is a great skin tightening device, but works best in combination with other treatments like J Plasma, RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, salt facials, Cosmelan for skin tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
