Why don't more doctors perform fat grafting to anatomical buccal space?

December 19, 2024

Is there a reason more doctors - even those very experienced with fat grafting - do not place fat back into the anatomical buccal space (between the muscle and lining)? I only know of one doctor who does and I'm wondering if there is some heightened risk or something and that's why most don't.
