FaceTite can internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls with only a weekend of downtime. Keep in mind that combination approaches will give you a more significant improvement as opposed to a single procedure. I recommend getting a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Treatment of early aging jowls and excess skin. This is what you have circled. You do NOT have too much buccal fat! See a very experienced facelift surgeon to give you the pros and cons of the type of facelift that would give you what you want. Beware of mini procedures that will give you mini results and leave you still needing removal of the excess skin and fat!
Dear Jay0033, Reducing the buccal fat pads will refine the fullness in the lower cheek area. This is a procedure that is often referred to by most surgeons as "buccal fat pad removal". I personally like to call it "buccal fat pad reduction" as it is important that just a portion of the buccal fat pad is removed so that the patient has some definition in this area without hollowing the lower face. Seek consultations with experts in this field and review an extensive library of before and after photographs to ensure expertise. See examples in the link and video attached. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
Thank you for your question, unfortunately your pictures are not clear to give an option. People are thinking about having facelift surgery at a young age now. However, you do not want to have a facelift too young as the difference will be minimal compared to the money spent. This will re...
Thank you for your picture and questions. You do not mention how long ago your surgery was and this can be very important information regarding nerve recovery issues. The thing you need to know, and your surgeon should be discussing with you, is that the nerve recovery can often times be very...
Thank you for your question and for submitting your photograph. The appearance of the neck suggests volume situated partially under the skin and partially deep to the platysma muscle, which does carry some hereditary elements. A deep plane neck lift procedure can reduce the volume of fat under...
After a facial nerve paralysis of the lower lip, you will need to give it time to heal spontaneously. The deficit indicates a marginal mandibular nerve paralysis and these likely heal spontaneously but it will take months and not weeks. There's a good chance it will heal in less than 6 m...
( . . . especially without photos), as it really can depend on the extent of your scarring. I have had very nice (and unexpected improvements) in both the depth of some skin lines and even scars, as well as color, occasionally (and fat grafting may help this as well). I would estimate that sc...
Thank you for the picture! It appears that you have lower face skin laxity in both the jowl area and your neck. You have options varying from nonsurgical to surgical with the surgical options being the most long lasting and beneficial. You are looking down which can exaggerate the looseness in ...
