There are a few procedures to help with loose jowls, depending on how much tightening is needed. The Vivace RF is definelty an option. We have our patients do a series of 4 treatments, one month apart. Another option is dermal fillers--Voluma. As we age our cheeks slide down of the cheek bones and create jowls. Sometimes all that is needed is to do a liquid face lift with Voluma to lift the cheeks back up where the use to be. Kybella might be another option, to disolve fat cells under the chin and the little bit of fat in the jowlly part along the jawline.
Jowels can be aided by Vivace. We recommend 3 to 4 treatments around 4 to 6 weeks apart. This allows the body to build elastin and collagen and can help tighten the area. I would also consider if you need filler or thread lift depending on what is going on and how it looks. I would get a consult. Vivace is a great non invasive option but may need to be combined with other treatments if the jowels are bad.
Hi and thank you for your question! There are are variety of options for helping to improve the jowl areas. Without a picture, its hard to make more specific recommendations. However, options could include Vivace RF needling, fillers around this pre-jowl/marionette area, cheeks, and jawline area. Also, Ultherapy to help lift and tighten overall. Best, Dr. Grant Stevens
