How many passes (per treatment session) does the company recommend for acne scarring for Vivace microneedling?

We do 2 to 3 passes per area. The deepest pass is the first one.  We also infuse your own plasma at the end of the last treatment to enhance your results.  

Thank you for your question.  I do anywhere from two to three to more passes each session for a total of four sessions that are  spaced two weeks apart.  Vivace is great for improving skin texture and minimizing the appearance of visible pores and acne scars.  I use the skin health, skin goals and skin response to treatment as a guideline to the treatment protocol than a rigid universal protocol. If you are doubting if your treatment was done properly, it is best to address your concerns with the establishment who did your treatment and asking if with one pass treatments they can get you any results. Also, all of the Vivace treatments at my practice, The Bonakdar Institute, are done with PRP for enhanced results.  By applying PRP to the treatment site, skin healing is sped up,  downtime is eliminated, and results are enhanced.

Typically when administering Vivace treatments I will perform 2-3 passes over the area I am treating for best results. This equates to about 1000 pulses of the device when treating a whole face. Depending on the tolerance of my patient and how the skin is responding, I may keep the energy and depth of needle penetration relatively constant or vary it depending on the individual or the area I am treating.
