I see some doctors offer the Vivace treatment with PRP facial/injections. Sadly, no one in my area offers both at the same time, so I would have to go to one doctor for the Vivace treatment, and go to another doctor for the PRP facial/injection. I was wondering, which procedure would be better to get first? The PRP facial, or the Vivace? And how far apart should I do them? Sooner the better, or should I wait a certain amount of time?
Answer: Vivace and PRP In my opinion, PRP is very over-hyped, which is why I don't offer it in my practice. In treatments combining Vivace and PRP, I believe you are likely getting the most benefit from the Vivace microneedling and RF rather than the PRP. If I were advising one of my patients, I would suggest to simply get the Vivace treatments and save your money by forgoing PRP.

Answer: Vivace Microneedling RF I have done numerous Vivace treatments. I combine all Vivace treatments with PRP/platelet rich plasma. PRP added to technology treatments, be it Vivace or traditional Microneedling without RF enhances your results and decreases your downtime. PRP stand alone injections do not show impressive long lasting results and thus have been abandoned by myself and most experts. The only current exception to this is stand alone injections of PRP for treatment of thinning hairline. The results of Vivace with PRP give your skin a smooth flawless tone and texture. Best of luck, Dr. Monica Bonakdar

Answer: Vivace and PRP Hi and thank you for your question! We pair PRP with Vivace and traditional microneedling. We rarely do PRP as a stand alone injection (like filler), as it doesn't seem to have much longevity or even close to the results you can get with HA products. Except for when its used in the hairline areas for thinning hair, this is an effective treatment with PRP. It works best when its delivered into the tissue with some type of needling or fractional procedure, which has created little open channels in the skin. We are finding this really supercharges the treatments we are doing and creating a significant glow to the skin. Best, Dr. Grant Stevens

Answer: Vivace with PRP Serum Hello, it is common to offer Vivace with optional PRP Serum during treatment. The Microneedling leaves perfect micro channels deep into the dermis that are open for prp serum to be delivered without injections. It is one of the benefits of Vivace. Prp serum is generally less costly than prp injections because of the application ease after microneedling or ablative lasering-and again no injections! We highly recommend our patients add prp serum to their Vivace treatment session to take advantage of this opportunity to deliver prp. If you specifically want prp injection facial- vampire facial- I would suggest you wait until 1 week after your Vivace session. Good luck with your rejuvenation!

Answer: Vivace I would do the Vivace first and then the PRP. I would wait 3 weeks between the two. Good luck.
