I have a red mole with a white halo on my inner thigh. It's also slightly asymmetric and has grown a little since a year ago. Before it was smaller and flat; now it's bigger and a bit raised. Is it cancerous and should I be concerned?

You could certainly leave the mole. It's been there for years without causing an issue except the need to explain that it's only a mole that you have had for years and is not an STD........
