I have a 3cm birthmark on my stomach which bothers me a lot. I have been to see someone who stated that removal of this would result in a large scar across my abdomen. Similar to that of a tummy tuck, what are my other options and would scar revision therapy after heal this?

It would not! The best procedure for removing your birthmark would be to use laser treatments, like those used for removing tattoos. After a series of treatments, your birthmark should be removed without scarring, though hyperpigmentation and skin color variation may occur.
