Pigment returning after a shave biopsy that came back "mildly atypical" 4 months post, will it need to be removed again?

I had a flat mole shaved off in February, the biopsy came back as "mildly atypical". I noticed about a month ago that there is a small spot where the pigment is returning. I have an appointment with my dermatologist in a few days but I am trying to prepare myself and am wondering if it will be necessary to have it removed again?
