Facial Symmetry, would chin lipo work to fix this? (photo)

Question

What can be done about my chin not being symmetrical? I think it's just a bit of extra fat on one side so hoping I can have lipo of some sort instead of reconstructing one side of it? I'd appreciate anyone's opinion please on what options there are. Thanks

You may benefit from liposuction done with your doctor's office. During your initial examination, your #chin will be evaluated along with the neck and jawline. A weak #chin implies a lack of chin support for the skin along the neck line. In younger individuals a chin implant alone is usually all that is needed to improve the appearance of the neck. Subsequently, it will also improve the overall #balance of the face and can create the illusion of a smaller nose. As a stand-alone procedure, chin augmentation can be performed in the office under local #anesthesia. For individuals with signs of #aging in the neck, a chin implant added to one of the recommended procedures above, will provide optimal results.
A board certified plastic surgeon should evaluate both your anatomical features and aesthetic goals to determine if a neck lift and/or #chin procedure best suits your individual needs. In some cases your plastic surgeon may give you more than one option to choose from. If you are not a candidate at the time of your #consultation, your board certified plastic surgeon can recommend non-surgical alternatives to address your concern.

I would consider using injectable fillers to help make your face more symmetric.  The difference between sides is unlikely due to more fat on one side versus the other, so I would not try reducing fat on the one side.

Chin liposuction is the plastic surgery procedure that removes the fullness of the soft tissues BELLOW the chin. Chin lipo does does not affect the shape, size or symmetry of the chin itself.

Chin liposuction can be an option, it makes you look younger and more
 attractive with a sharp jawline , and better facial proportions.It is 
important evaluate your pictures or a personal evaluation in order to 
give you the best option for your case. 
I recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic 
surgeon for a good evaluation and to talk about your goals.
