I have droopy eyelids. What eyelid surgery could help me? (Photos)

I have some issue with my eye that causes my eyelids to droop. I believe it may be ptosis, but am not sure. Have also seen an upper blepharoplasty may be helpful? I'd appreciate any insight.

Just based on your photos, you do appear to have ptosis of your upper eyelids.  This issue can normally be improved with a surgical procedure.  I would consult with an oculoplastic surgeon or a surgeon experienced in ptosis repair.

You’re not looking straight into the camera, but it appears you have one droopy eyelid. It could certainly be both eyelids. But you need a ptosis evaluation to see why you have ptosis in the first place. There are many different reasons for having ptosis, whether it’s on one side or both.

There are different surgical approach options for ptosis and the one I recommend will depend on the case. But I more commonly perform the scarless approach from the undersurface of the eyelid.

I’m an Oculoplastic surgeon and this is one procedure we really specialize in. I’ve attached a video of the scarless approach.

Based on your photos, it seems that you have a weak muscle that opens the eyelids.  This results in Ptosis.  This can be corrected easily with upper eyelid surgery.  You should consult with an eye plastic surgeon that has a lot of experience doing this type of safe, but delicate surgery.

You definitely have ptosis. The treatment is surgical, the method dependent on the specific cause. From the difference in the amount of flat space, you probably have disinsertion of the levator and an external blepharoplasty and levator shortening would be best. See a plastic or ophthalmic plastic surgeon with experience in ptosis treatment. See the last example in the web link.
